Abstract

This webquest was desing because we consider that  in many cases, students do not know how to use strategies effectively and continue to read even though they do not comprehend, this student are called poor readers because students don’t used strategies in an appropriate way and are not able to draw conclusions, evaluate, and critically interpret articles, stories or chapters, also when students are reading they do not make predictions about events, thoughts, results and conclusion, predictions are very important because students can be more involved with the author´s thinking, this strategy students help to learn understanding a text and share ideas, perspectives and is very necessary that students seek resources from the same text as the contents, index or in other cases the internet, to have better support for reading

 

In this web quest we are guiding the students trough read, by showing them that there are more ways to explaing a reading and also that, to do so, it is not necessary to do an abstract, because to make an interpretation with pictures, music, videos, etc... It is also great.
Thanks to the new resources that technology offers, our students can improve their competences in a lot of fields, and in this case we have incorporated some of them such as: free online music and video editors, free online image banks, to help them to create a new interpretation of their readings by using them, also we promote the use of others legal and free resources that the students consider that would help to do a better product at the end of their tasks.
